One of our personal favorites! Large wooded park with pavilions, facilities, and Amphitheater.

Irmo Town Park 7330 Carlisle St. Irmo, SC 29063

This area features a large Gazebo (may need to be reserved in advance) benches and small restrooms.

Lake Murray Park 1832 North Lake Dr. Lexington, SC 29072

Beautiful views of Lake Murray, we recommend the Irmo side which has covered seating areas, and small restrooms. a $5 parking fee may apply.

Gibson Pond Park 241 Gibson Rd. Lexington, SC 29072

We simply find this park as your best choice for an elopement or small gathering, featuring a large pavilion that may be reserved in advance, multiple smaller pavilions, trails, and a multiple docks overlooking the pond and reservoir. Small restrooms.

Sesquicentennial State Park 9564 Two Notch Rd. Columbia, SC 29223

This park features areas available to reserve in advance for larger gatherings. 

Dreher Island State Park- 3677 State park Rd. Prosperity, SC 29127

This park is beyond breathtaking with it's views of the lake. Picnic area, and playground. Limited facilities. $3 general admission.
