You will need to apply online or visit the probate court to apply and retrieve the marriage license as their is a 24 hour waiting period in South Carolina. MOST probate courts require 2 forms of Identification. The pricing of your license vary but you may utilize any county in SC to apply and receive your license, you don't have to reside in said county.

Please note that several counties only issue online license applications. Certified copies of your marriage license can be obtained by contacting the court and requesting it. a nominal fee may apply By South Carolina state law, it is the Wedding officiant obligation to send in the marriage license.
